SOUND THERAPY

How does Sound Therapy work?

Sound therapy is a restorative experience that uses frequency and vibration to calm the nervous system, release tension, and support the body’s natural capacity for healing.

As vibration moves through the body, it creates the conditions for deep rest, regulation, and renewal

The approach I bring

My work with sound is grounded in presence, intention, and a responsive, client-centred approach.

I use specific instruments and frequencies in an intentional and focused way, supporting different aspects of your experience — whether physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual.

The session is guided not only by what is shared verbally in the initial assessment, but also by what is revealed through your embodied and energetic responses throughout the process.

Sound therapy is more than a passive experience of relaxation. It is an active and responsive process that supports your system to settle, regulate, and move towards greater balance.

What happens in a session?

The session begins with an assessment and conversation to understand what you would like support with.

This may include your current state physically, emotionally, and energetically, any areas of tension or difficulty, and your intentions for the session or series of sessions.

From there, you are invited to rest and receive.

Using a wide range of instruments such as crystal and Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, drums, monochord, and voice, I create a field of sound that you can listen to with your whole body.

There is nothing you need to do. Allowing the sounds to be received supports a natural process of relaxation, release, and rebalancing.

Sessions are shaped in an intentional and responsive way according to your particular needs.

How can sound therapy help?

It may support:

— calming the nervous system
— releasing physical and emotional tension
— reducing stress and anxiety
— supporting the body’s natural healing processes
— restoring a sense of balance and ease

SOUND THERAPY & DEEP COACHING

COMBINED SESSION — SOUND THERAPY AND DEEP COACHING

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each session is shaped around where you are and what is present for you. We will usually begin with deep coaching, creating space to explore your experience and intention, and move into sound therapy in the second part of the session, allowing for deeper integration and relaxation. A session may include:

— A grounding practice to support your arrival into the present moment and build somatic awareness

— Clarifying what you would like to bring into focus

— Gentle guidance into the body, supporting you to access your own inner wisdom

— Deep enquiry, guided by your intention for the session

— Opportunities for authentic sound and movement to emerge

— Use of the Enneagram of Personality to explore patterns, beliefs, and pathways for growth

— Practical tools to support integration between sessions

— Sound work to encourage relaxation, release held tension, and restore balance Each session is a balance of exploration and integration — supporting both insight and embodied experience.
