SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction (spiritual accompaniment), helps us become more attentive to God’s presence in our lives.
As a spiritual director formed in the Ignatian tradition, I speak of deepening our personal relationship with God.
I recognise that people may use other language for the sacred reality they experience — Source, the Divine, Presence, Love, or something they cannot quite name.
What matters is a willingness to explore and deepen this relationship.
We all have times when we sense that something is shifting within us — a longing, a question, a restlessness or a sense that something is calling us. Spiritual direction offers a space to explore what may be happening and where God might be present within it.
It is not about being given answers or advice. It is about accompanying you as you discern, with increasing trust, the direction in which you are being called and how you might become more fully the person you are created to be.
Group Experiences
As well as individual spiritual direction, I also offer contemplative experiences for small groups, including Quiet Days and retreats, creating space for reflection, stillness and deeper listening.
For more information, or to explore whether spiritual direction might be right for you, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email.
